Activation Methods: DTF TPU hot melt adhesive powder can be activated through heat and pressure, but there are different methods available:
Heat Press: The most common method is using a heat press machine. The DTF film with the printed design and the fabric are sandwiched together and subjected to high heat and pressure. The heat press machine ensures even distribution of heat and pressure, resulting in a consistent and reliable transfer.
Conveyor Belt System: Some manufacturers offer conveyor belt systems designed specifically for DTF printing. These systems allow for continuous production, with the DTF film and fabric passing through a heated conveyor belt under pressure to activate the adhesive powder.
Heat Tunnel: Heat tunnels are another option for activating the adhesive powder. The DTF film and fabric are passed through a tunnel where hot air circulates, applying heat to activate the adhesive. This method is suitable for larger-scale production and can provide consistent results.
